Prowl Hockey announces Director of Development

Prowl Hockey is proud to announce Nic Spenningsby as our new Director of Development. 

Born and raised in Jamestown, ND, Nic's hockey journey is deeply rooted in our community. As a former Prowl and Blue Jay athlete, Nic understands first hand the values dedication and passion that make our program special.

Nic and his wife Becca are proud parents of two boys who currently participate in the Prowl program making his commitment to youth hockey both personal and professional. 

Hockey has been a lifelong passion for Nic and he has already made a tremendous impact through his work in player development, coaching and mentorship. In his new role, he will lead the continued growth of our development model utilizing modern training methods, innovative equipment and merging technologies to help players reach their full potential.

As Director of Development, Nic will work directly with every team in our program spending time on the ice with players, supporting coaches with practice planning and skill progression and helping to navigate challenges throughout the season. His focus will be on creating a consistent, high-quality development experience for players at every age and skill level.

We are excited about the future of player development within Prowl Hockey and confident that Nic's leadership, experience and passion for the game will have a lasting impact on our athletes and coaches.
